At Connors Facilitation, we bring decades of legal and educational experience to our work in facilitation and mediation. As licensed attorneys, we have an extensive background spanning civil, criminal, probate, and family court proceedings. For over three decades, we have shared our knowledge by teaching law students at institutions including the University of Michigan Law School, Wayne State Law School, and Vermont Law School.
In 2025, after 34 years of distinguished service on the bench, Judge Timothy Connors retired from the Michigan State Court. During his tenure, he served in various capacities through election, appointment, or assignment, including as a circuit court judge, district court judge, and probate court judge. Judge Connors was also appointed as a tribal court judge. Notably, he held leadership roles as the chief judge for the circuit, district, and unified courts. He presided over the Business Court and founded the innovative Washtenaw County Peacemaking Court.
Margaret Kruse Connors brings a wealth of diverse experience to Connors Facilitation. Her career includes time as a primary and secondary educator and an accomplished artist, whose works have been exhibited at the juried Ann Arbor Art Fair and in a solo show at the Michigan Club. As a civil, family, and criminal litigator, she served as a First Assistant and Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Washtenaw County and as a referee for the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Currently, Margaret contributes to the arts as a docent at the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA).
